About the Event
This retreat is a chance for you to spend 5 days/ 4 nights in a nurturing environment among a very small group of like minded people.
A short retreat away from the noise and stress of the city and everyday life. A perfect setting to relax, nourish, energise & restore yourself.

The chosen venue, St Marks Stays, a restored Victorian vicarage in Cumbria will be the setting for this bespoke retreat of no more than 6 guests - this will allow us to respect social distancing both in the yoga studio and around the dining table.
This event follows the latest Covid-19 guidelines set up by the government.
• Total cost of the retreat for a single occupancy room with en-suite bathroom is £499 per person.
• Total cost of the retreat for a double occupancy room with en-suite bathroom is £359.50 per person or £719 per couple.
A full refund will be offered should this event be cancelled due to another lockdown.

Sita Ravi Kaur will be our yoga teacher. She has a vast knowledge of Kundalini yoga.
The power of this ancient practice can enable major shifts in your life.
The morning session will be more dynamic as it begins with the chance to step into the space and consciousness of the group through breath work for clarity and focus. Then we move into the flow of the yoga practice.
Each day we will have a different kriya (series of postures that work toward a specific outcome) focusing on restoring and rebalancing your nervous and glandular system. We will work on each chakra and the organs they are associated with. Through mantra and meditation we will be working directly with your master glands which directly affect your hormonal system.
Kundalini can lift your spirit, shift and balance your energy, release trauma, detoxify, cleanse and clear emotional blocks.
The evening session will be a gentler practice and will focus on bringing a deep sense of calm.
We will go through stretching, meditation, chanting and we will build our intentions so we can find our true essence.
Everyday you will experience the beautiful sound of crystal bowls and healing gong.
Sound healing is incredibly powerful. It enables you to fully switch off and let go of the “monkey chatter“. It is known to help with anxiety, insomnia, stress and can rebalance the nervous system and heal on a deep cellular level.
As you progress through the retreat, the chance to have daily sound baths will allow your body and mind to truly LET GO.
